I've lived in Columbus now over 30 years, and I can't say enough about the city and all it offers! I am passionate about taking care of my clients, listening to them, and helping find that perfect place that feels like home. Community Involvement Community service is a high priority for Mary Campbell Staebler. She has volunteered (Easter Seals fundraising group). Mary has been past President of Brace II; past Secretary; Telethon volunteer. She has also served on the Executive Board of St. Stephen's Community House; and was Caribbean Fantasy Fundraiser volunteer. Mary also raised money for the Leukemia Society, and Suicide Prevention Services. Mary is also a member of the Junior League of Columbus.

I already knew that she was an excellent teacher, but my family and I quickly discovered that she was also a master real estate agent. Mary knew the area well and was able to price mom’s house in line with what we believed it was worth but also so that it sold the first day, and sold above the listing price. "Amazing! Simply amazing! We had a terrible experience with a previous realtor with a deal that fell through (as a result of his lack of professionalism with other agents). We came to Mary as very skeptical buyers, hurt and frustrated, and a little panicked to be honest. Mary was very reassuring and handled us with care while we moved forward after our previous experience. She was always available, and if she wasn't going to be available for any reason, she let us know up front (time management + communication= awesome!). Our deal was a mess from the start, and everything that was wrong had nothing to do with Mary at all. Mary was able to handle the issues that popped up quickly, efficiently, and she knew how to get people moving in the right direction. We had crappy luck with a disappointing appraiser, and Mary worked with our best interest 1st the entire time. You might find agents who are always available (like we did previously), but what we found was that you need an agent with negotiation skills. "My husband and I were looking to buy our first home. As we began our search, we stopped by a number of open houses, both to see what different neighborhoods had to offer and to meet realtors. We happened upon an Open House that was hosted by Mary. She immediately greeted us and was very polite, extremely easy to talk to and answered the many questions we had as first time home buyers. After seeing the house and speaking with her, we left that open house confident that we found the Realtor that we wanted to work with.
